Shelby Jean Walls

Shelby Jean Walls was born December 24th , 1942 to her mother Clara Grimsley and father Luther Grimsley. She is survived by sisters Mableen Hopper and Lima Ferguson. Brothers Thomas Grimsley and CL Grimsley. Husband Billy Walls, children Tammie (Jeff) Arnold, Nelson (Cindy) Walls, and Hallie (Jesse) Garlock. Grandchildren Samantha Walls, Daniel Walls, Blake Mann, Colton Mann, and numerous nieces and nephews. She started her career at First Baptist Church in Parsons, TN as a daycare teacher. In October of 1992 she went to work for Paula Jowers at Little Acorn in Lexington, TN as an assistant teacher for toddlers. She was Saved on June 21st , 1970 and Baptized August 16th , 1970 by brother Paul Shell. She was loved by anyone who met her and was a spontaneous woman. After retirement she met up with “the girls” Brenda Utley and Margaret Gardner and went out for “girls day” every day. Her Memorial Service will be held 1:00pm, Saturday May 21st 2022 at Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Cedar Grove.
