Jerry D Britt, 78, of Huron, passed away in Nashville, Sunday, November 6th, 2022. He was born
September 29th,1944 in Henderson County. He retired as a construction superintendent after a lifelong
career building homes and businesses. He enjoyed gardening with his family and watching westerns
with a big bag of popcorn. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Joan Beal Britt; his daughters, Carol
Shannon(Tim) and Tracy Chambers(Michael); his son, Jason Britt(Ronnie); his grandsons, Kolby
Chambers(Kasey), Clint Shannon(Emily), Clay Shannon, Gavin Britt; granddaughters, Kaitlyne Ayala(T.J.),
Kendall Sheldon(Joey), Shelby Britt(Colton); great-grandson, Ripley Sheldon; his sisters, Wilma Britt and
Margie Sherlock; his brother Larry Britt(Debbie); an aunt Patsy Prien; and numerous nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marie Britt. Visitation will be from 6-8
Thursday night, November 10th, 2022 at Stanfill Funeral Home at 200 Pine Drive Lexington Tn. Graveside
services will be at 2 Friday afternoon at the Britt Family Cemetery at 229 Greenway Road Huron TN. The
processional will leave the funeral home at 1:30.
