Elizabeth “Nanny” Gail Elvington Benson

Elizabeth Gail Elvington Benson passed away on March 9th, 2025 in Jackson, TN at the age of 72. She was preceded by her parents Ruth White Elvington and Roy Elvington, her brothers Jody Elvington, Bill Elvington, and Tony Elvington, her sisters Christine Rainey, Polly James, Judi Elvington, Hilda Duke, and Peggy Odle. She is survived by her husband Johnny Benson, her brother Max (Doc) Elvington, her children Melissa Melton & Elizabeth (Jon) Pulley, her grandchildren Frank (Rachel) Miller Jr., Jonathan Pulley, Jacob Pulley, Colby Melton, and Madison Melton, as well as her great-grandchildren Kirk Miller, J. Henry Miller, and Mary Miller.

Her visitation will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home and Cremation Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, from 1pm-7pm. Her visitation will recommence Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 from 12pm-2pm with her service to follow at 2pm.
