Oweda G. Small

Oweda G. Small passed away Tuesday March 25th, 2025 at Westwood Nursing Home in Decaturville, TN at the age of 89. She was preceded by her parents Connie and Margie Blankenship, her husband Charles E. Small, her brother Allen Blankenship, her sisters LaVon Stribling, Dale Richardson, and Kay Scott, and her daughter-in-law Kristie Small. She is survived by her children Tony Small, Judy (Denny) Ridley, Jeff (Leesa) Small, Tammy (Rickey) Meadows, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, along with a special caretaker Wendy Harden. She was a member of the Broad St. Church of Christ. She was an employee of Big K, where she had a special friend, Dan Hughes. She was also a former employee with Walmart and Johnson Controls. She graduated from Lexington Highschool in 1955. 

Her visitation will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation Thursday, March 27th, 2025 from 3pm-8pm. Her visitation will recommence Friday, March 28th, 2025 from 8am-11am with her graveside service to follow at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Lexington Cemetery.
