Barry Monroe Roberts

5/30/1957 – 11/27/2022

 

Barry Monroe Roberts passed away November 27th, 2022 in Nashville, TN at the age of 65. He
served and protected his community for 33 years in law enforcement. He loved to go fishing, playing
with his grandchildren, and attending the occasional car auction. He was preceded in death by his
parents Monroe and Christine Roberts. He is survived by his wife of 10 years Dixie Roberts; brothers
Larry (Jo Anne) Roberts and Gary Roberts; sisters Cindy (Chester) Singleton and Mary Sisson;
children Crystal Roberts, Chelsey (Joseph) Barnes, Chad (Cristina) Dunivan, Cody (Whitney)
Thompson, Josh Welch; grandchildren Brooklyn Roberts, Brooks and Charlie Joe Dunivan, Adelyn
Welch, and Oakley Barnes.
His visitation will be held Tuesday November 29th from 12pm-6pm and Wednesday November 30th
from 10am-6pm at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation. His visitation will recommence at Sandridge
Baptist Church Thursday December 1st at 11am with the service to follow at 1pm.
