Dallas William Bondsteel

Dallas William Bondsteel passed away early Christmas morning (12-25-2025) in Jackson TN. He was 69 years old, born July 23, 1956 in Hillsdale, MI to William and Emma Bondsteel. Dallas was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Bondsteel. His grandparents Dallas M. and Luella Bondsteel. His grandparents Clarence Kelley and Velva Kelley Oyer. Dallas is survived by his wife Nettie Elkins Bondsteel, daughter Jenny Bondsteel, son Dallas J. Bondsteel, granddaughter Nettie Poole and grandson Gibson Poole V. Brothers James (Kathy) Bondsteel and Scott Bondsteel. Sister Sandra (Terry) Grimm. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, who truly loved his extended family including many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers in law. He was a fun-loving guy that liked to crack jokes with family and friends. He loved being outdoors in nature watching wildlife and people. He loved watching western movies, his hero was John Wayne. Everyone that knew Dallas loved him. Dallas retired from Volvo Penta Lexington, as a Mechanical Engineer. He had many friends there that he cherished. He loved to share his knowledge and teach other co-workers his skills. He previously worked for Hillsdale Tool in Hillsdale Michigan and in Manchester Tennessee. Dallas is being cremated as per his wishes. There will be a Celebration of Life held in the near future in his hometown Hillsdale, Michigan.
