Detra Jo Blankenship

Detra Jo Blankenship passed away on December 11th, 2024, at her home in Huron, TN at the age of 69. She was preceded by her parents Alton S. Green and Emma Gardner Green, her brothers Gardner Greenway and Joe Huntsman Green. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Randal Blankenship, her sister Mitchell Fesmire and her late husband Hugh Fesmire, her sisters Jane Riles (Eddie) and Claudia Burke (Harry Jr.), her children Kenneth and Brandon Blankenship, her sisters-in-law Marylyn Bird (Mike) and Teresa Johnson, and her brother-in-law Frankie Blankenship (Shelia), along with a multitude of family and friends. She worked at GE Williams Furniture and Daisy Florist. She enjoyed cooking, flowers, and the beach.

Her memorial visitation will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation Saturday December 14th, 2024, from 1pm-5pm. In lieu of flowers or gifts, make a donation to the charity of your choice.
