Jerry Williams

Jerry Williams, age 89, passed away in Lexington, TN on October 2nd, 2026.  He was born in the Roby Community to parents William “Willie” Williams and Flora (McBride) Williams. In his youth, Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing.  As an adult, he made a career out of being the handy person that he was. In 2001, he retired from Aqua Glass after a long career as an industrial electrician.  Jerry served as a deacon during his time at Saltillo Baptist Church.  He enjoyed time outdoors, gardening, reading and watching westerns on television. Mostly, Jerry enjoyed time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife of 54 years Cynthia “Dee” Williams, and a brother DeWayne Williams. Surviving relatives include his son, Troy (Cynthia) Williams, two grandchildren Stephanie Williams and Mark (Mallory) Williams, three great-grandchildren Chloe Williams-Garner, Spencer Williams and Conner Williams, two sisters Janeus (William) Doyle and Sherold Rambo. Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 6th at 2pm in the chapel at Stanfill Funeral Home in Lexington, TN. Visitation will be begin at 12pm until time of service.  Bro. Kenney Scott will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to Gideons International or the Crump Cemetery Fund.
