Marla Diane Cummins

Marla Diane Cummins passed away on March 25th, 2026 in Lexington, TN at the age of 61. She was preceded by her parents Cecil Ferguson and Opal Brewer Ferguson, her husband Tommy Cummins, her brothers Dale Ferguson, Floyd Ferguson, Johnny Lawson, Roy Lawson, and Ralph Lawson, her sisters Judy Hayes, Sarah Risher, Linda Clark, Margaret Ferguson, and Audrey Ferguson. She is survived by her sister Cecilia Putman, her children Tommy Ray Cumins (Janna) and Heather Holley (Josh), her grandchildren Landon Cummins, Landon Britt, Coner Cummins, Olivia Cummins, Sury Ann Prince, Casen Holley, Brennan Holley, and Hayden Holley.

She was a homemaker for the majority of her life. She enjoyed takin care of her husband, kids, and grandkids. She loved all of her grandkids equally, she said. She loved her dog Fergie and wanted to thank her nurse, Brittany for taking her in when she couldn’t care for herself any longer. She loved all of her hospice family and appreciated them for taking care of her and loving her the way they did.

Marla wanted to be cremated and laid to rest with her husband at McGlamery Cemetery in Collinwood, TN. Family has decided to have a celebration of life service to be determined at a later date.
