Matthew Damion Jones

Matthew Damion Jones passed away January 8th, 2024 in Lexington, TN at the age of 21. He is gone, but never forgotten. Matthew was born in Hermitage TN at Summit Hospital June 7th, 2002. He was always a curious boy growing up. He wanted to learn everything and truly loved reading books. He had a heart of gold and always put others before himself. He overcame everything life tried to bring him down with. At 21 years old he was taken from us; his wings were ready, but our hearts were not. He will forever be missed in our lives and everyone’s life that he was apart of. Our love for him will stay in our hearts until we meet again. He was truly a gift from God. He was preceded by his paternal uncle Matthew William Jones, his maternal uncle Lewis A. Hudson, and his maternal grandfather Donald Ray Stephenson. He is survived by his parents Mark Patrick Jones and Jennifer Stephenson, his brothers Jason R. McWhorter, his sister Kaia Alexis Jones, his paternal grandparents Harold and Maryann Jones, and his maternal grandmother Betty Bowers.

His visitation will be held Saturday January 20th, 2024 from 11am-3pm with his service to follow at 3pm.
