Olice Burdette Jr passed away on May 25th, 2026 in his home at the age of 88. He was preceded by his parents Olice Felix Burdette and Ruby Burdette, his brothers Timothy Burdette and Jimmy Burdette, his sisters Christine Rankin, Rosetta Lyle, and Judy Long, his children Angela Lynn Vaughn, and Tonia Rennae White, and his son in law Randy Pittman. He is survived by his wife Ann Burdette, his brothers Danny Burdette (Jean) and Ricky Burdette (Vicki), his sister Jo Abbott, his children Marcia Guinn Huckabee (Paul) and Gayla Ann Pittman, his grandchildren Christy Sorrell (Wade), Michael Huckabee, Ricky White, Jennifer Springer (James), Chelcee Allen, James R. Pittman (Megan), and Benjamin C. Pittman (Amanda), as well as his great grandchildren Bailey, Aubrey, Cody, River, Brett, Aiden, Iela, Hazel, Lucy, Julian, and Oliver.

He was the heart of our family – loving, strong, and always putting others before himself. His kindness, warmth and unconditional love touched everyone who knew him. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort is knowing he is now at peace in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. We are forever grateful for the memories, laughter, generosity and love he gave so freely, and we hold onto the faith that we will see him again one day. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in his loving family.

A special thank you to all at Arden Hospice and Zach & Carlas Davis.

His visitation will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation on Saturday May 30th, 2026 from 11am-1pm with his service to follow from 1pm-2pm. In lieu of flowers send donation to Henderson County Homeless Coalition (HCHC) P.O. Box 723 Lexington, TN 38351.
