Pauline Dunback Schenck passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2023. She passed in the comfort of her home in Lexington, at the youthful age of 64. Pauline fought a grueling battle of stage four metastatic adenocarcinoma. Her stubborn nature gave her the determination to perceiver through the disease. She passed with her daughter Melinda, granddaughter Vanessa, and family friend at her bedside.


Pauline was born in Woodland California, on December 19th, 1958, to her loving parents Jessie and Bernice Dunback. She was a lighthearted festive homemaker, who was also a certified nursing assistant for many years. She had a kind heart and had a special drive to help take care of others. She met the love of her life Ricky Schenck in Woodland California. Pauline and Rick were together one year before being married on May 26th, 1990. They shared 32, magnificent years together before his passing in 2021.


She was a loving and a caring mother, wife, and grandmother, to grandchildren and adoptive children, grandchildren, and fur babies. She was a woman of faith, grace, and great beauty. She had a kind caring soul to all that knew her, but never backed down from a challenge. During her active years before being structed with the terrible disease. Her and Ricky traveled the United Sates together. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren making beautiful memories throughout the years.


She was preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Bernice Dunback, oldest sister Coreen and late husband Ricky. She is survived by her children (Eric, Melinda, Richard), grandchildren (Raven, Mathew, Vanessa, Seth, Ricky, Eric Nolan, Nicholas, and one still baking). Fur babies, adoptive children and grandchildren.


As Pauline would say:
1,2,3… Suck it up buttercup, and put your big girl pants on!


A celebration of life is planned for Friday July 14th, 2023, at 1:00pm. The celebration will be held at Crosspoint Church on 50 Dixon Street Lexington, TN. All are invited to attend and celebrate her life.
