Robert M. (Mickey) Ellis 76 of Lexington, passed on February 22, 2026 in Jackson. He was born in Nashville, raised in Perry County and lived in Texas for 6 years and Fort Gratiot Michigan for 23 years. He proudly served in the US Army in the early 70s. He retired in 2017 from his position as a warehouse manager and returned to his beloved Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Cheri Seaman Ellis, and his mother Nella Jean (Warren) Talley. He is also survived by his children, Debora Davis, Felicia Ellis and Thomas Ellis and Jennifer Seaman, Tony Seaman and Melissa (Jason) O’Hare. His surviving siblings are brothers Raymond Lee McAfee, James Darrell Hart, and Henry Ellis, His surviving sisters are Diane Carter, Donna Currin and Dixie McCluskey. He has 16 grandchildren and 16 Great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his father and two great grandchildren. After his family, he loved hunting, fishing and taking care of his dream property where he could ideally do both.

Cremation has taken place.
