Robert Earle White

Robert Earle White passed away July 10th 2025 at his home in Lexington, TN at the age of 88. He was preceded by his parents Earle Ethaldus White and Addie Eloise Addison, his wife Etta Faye White, his brother John F. Neill Jr. of Northport, Fl, his sister Patsy Clemons and Connie Goodrow, his daughter Cynthia Sue White, and his grandchild Derrick Andrew Crosby. He is survived by his sisters Diane Taype of South Carolina and Deidre Campbell of South Carolina, his daughter Sandy White, his grandchildren Nicole Shannon Herrera, John Thomas Holcer Jr. and Danielle Kristine Dyal, and his great grandchildren Gabrielle, Devon, Alexis, Jayden, Landon, Brayden, Eliana, and Zella. Mr. Robert was born and raised in Arcadia and Sarasota, FL to a large family who ranched cattle and citrus orchards. As a child he worked on his father’s milk truck. He graduated high school and went directly into the Navy. Mr. White served in the US Navy between the Korean and Vietnam wars. He met and married his wife in Chicago, IL, where he raised his two daughters. He worked for CSX, Penn Central, and Amtrak as a railroad engineer until his retirement in 1999 when he moved to Lexington, TN. Mr. White had a difficult life, but the Lord blessed him with a job he loved and a family that loved him dearly. He became a born-again Christian the weekend after his wife’s funeral. He knew where he was going and was ready to go home with the Lord.
His visitation will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation Sunday July 13th, 2025 from 2pm-8pm. His visitation will recommence Monday July 14th, 2025 from 12pm-2pm with his service to follow at 2pm.
