Rocky W. Bunch

12/26/1949 – 9/2/2021

Rocky Wade Bunch passed away after his battle with cancer on September 2, 2021 at the age of 71 in Jackson, TN.  He is survived by his daughters: Sue-Ling Utley (Tom) and Jya-Ming Bunch (Daniel); sisters: Sandra Alvarez and Sherry Gu; brother: Brick Bunch (Nelie); and his many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Walton Bunch and Mary Lou Bunch (Harty).

He was a loving father; best friend to his siblings; father/grandfather figure to the many who loved him; Lieutenant Commander and confidante to the students who trained under his command as an NJROTC instructor; retired officer from the U.S. Navy after 24 years of service; and last but not least, friend to any and all who got to know him.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. held at Henderson County Cremation Services of Tennessee.
