Shelby Jean Garner Bolden

Shelby Jean Garner Bolden passed away on May 24th, 2025 in Lexington, TN at the age of 85. She was preceded by her parents Audrey Hart Garner and Clyde Eugene Garner, her husband of 57 years James “Jim” Bolden, her sisters Charlotte Garner Naylor (Glenn) and Penny Garner Hancock (Mike). She is survived by her son Richard Jerome Bolden and his wife Betsy, her grandson Keaton Rush Murley and his wife Lydia. Shelby was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church and lived in the Garnertown community all her of life. She retired from Johnson Controls in Lexington. She loved to travel with her husband James. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, and canning. She was a devoted mother to her son Jerome and a wonderful grandmother to her grandson Keaton. The family would like to say a special thank you to everyone at Oak Haven Assisted Living. 

Her visitation will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation Saturday May 31st, 2025 from 11am-2pm with her service to follow at 2pm. She will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
