William Webster Kee Sr.

William Webster Kee Sr., born February 18th, 1931 and passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2025 at 94 years old. He was born to Starling Jonas Kee and Mary Wilson Kee, who instilled in him the values of hard work, faith, and family—principles he carried throughout his life.

A proud Korean War veteran, William served in the Air Force for his country with honor and dedication. His patriotism never wavered, and he often shared stories of his service with those he loved. William retired from the Sheet Metal Union local 4. 

William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Mae Kee, with whom he built a beautiful life and was married for 60 years. He is survived by his children, William W. Kee Jr. and Vickey Fesmire, and his grandchildren, Michael Tyson, Jennifer Harris, Cecilia Gray, and Jacob Kee, and a sister, Josie Williams, and a brother, Willie Kee. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren, Colbin and Aubrie Tyson, Jaycie Harris, Joshua, Preston, and Maverick Kee, and Evan Gray, all of whom brought him immense joy. He is preceded in death by his brothers Norman Kee, James Kee, and David Kee, and his sisters Dee Chandler and Bonnie Kuhnen. 

A man of deep faith, William loved reading his Bible and spending time with Jesus. His days were filled with simple pleasures—watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, watching his Atlanta Braves play, working on puzzles, sipping coffee, fishing, hunting, and picking pecans. His presence was a source of comfort and wisdom, and his stories will be treasured forever.

His family finds peace in knowing that he is now at rest in the arms of the Lord.

A memorial service will be held April 18th, 2025 at Peebles Funeral Home in Somerville, TN. Visitation will begin at 12:00PM with a service to follow at 1:00PM.
