Barbara Jean Beal Banks

Barbara Jean Beal Banks was born on May 18th, 1945. She passed away on November 25th, 2025 in Hohenwald, TN at the age of 80. She was preceded by her parents O.H. “Pie” Beal and Crula Marie Beal, her brothers Joe Beal and Robert Beal, her sisters Peggy Dunavan, Camilia Bartholomew, and Virginia Blankenship. She is survived by her brother George Beal, her sister Joan Britt, her children James O. Banks, Shannon (Amy) Banks, and Andrea Wilson Pounds, her grandchildren Ty Banks, Cade Banks, Bo Banks, Mikiah Wilson, and Emilee Morphis, as well as her great grandchildren Milly Morphis, Esaias Morphis, and Harper Wilson.

She was a humble, hardworking, and loving person. She never asked for anything. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was the proudest of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved her family, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Besides her family she loved going on new adventures with Pam. She also loved watching Memphis Grizzly basketball games. She loved the Lord and going to the Indian Reservation out west to share the gospel of Jesus with them. She loved the time spent with her brother George there. 

Her visitation will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation Saturday November 29th, 2025 from 10am-1pm with her service to follow at 1pm. She will be laid to rest at Independence Cemetery.
