Betty Hay Dill passed away March 20th, 2024 in Lexington, TN at the age of 96. She was born March 20, 1928 in Lexington TN to the late Ernest Allen Hay and Jessie Brooks Hay. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Brooks Agner (Mike) of Naples FL, her daughter-in-law Chris Dill (caretaker), four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and six great great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her beloved husband of 56 years, Winfred, known to most as “Dill”, her son Commander Ted Allen Dill, USN, and her brother Sam R Hay. She attended Huntingdon College, UT, and Murray State University. Betty was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lexington TN, where she volunteered in the food pantry. She was a huge sports fan and her many interests included cheering on her beloved Atlanta Braves, UK (Cats), and Florida Gators. She also enjoyed travel, reading, playing bridge, crossword puzzles, trivial pursuit, and jeopardy. All of her dogs throughout her life gave her great joy.

Her visitation will be held Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation in Lexington from 10:30am-12:00pm with her service to follow at 12:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Lexington Cemetery following her service.
