Dovie Elizabeth “Betty” Tucker

Dovie Elizabeth “Betty” Tucker passed away on January 25th, 2026 at the age of 87. She was preceded by her parents Mr. Joe & Margaret Davis of Jackson, TN, her husband of 56 years Mr. Fred H. Tucker of Luray, TN, her brother Joe Davis Jr. of Minnesota, her sister Virginia Davis, and her daughter Virginia Tucker Sage Davis. She is survived by her sons Paul H. Tucker and Michael F. Tucker of Luray, TN, her three grandchildren Beau Sage, Skylar Sage, and Scarlett Roberts, and her great grandchildren Elli and Ezera Sage.

She was a member of Methodist Church pf Beech Bluff. She was the Reelfoot Regional Girl Scout Representative. As Regional Girl Scout Rep, she received the proclamation for Reelfoot Girl Scouts presented by Governor Ray Blanton. In 1976 she was an attendee to the White House in Washington, D.C. as a part of the Girl Scouts of America Delegation hosted by First-Lady Betty Ford. She enjoyed her family, friends, meeting new people, her flowers, chocolate, and tanning with Jesus. 

Her memorial service will be held at the Buckley Family Cemetery on Sunday March 1st, 2026 at 2:00PM. All family, friends, and the community are welcome to attend.
