Gary Wayne Hendrix

Gary Wayne Hendrix passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, in Jackson, TN at the age of 69. He was born August 24, 1954 in Lexington to Charles Hendrix and Joy Fesmire Woods. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Hendrix; his son, Christopher Hendrix (Kim), his daughters, Jennifer Hendrix Wilson and Tonya Guerra (Manuel) of Lexington, and his stepson, Michael Prater (Allison) of Beech Bluff, TN; his stepmother, Mary Hendrix of Smyrna, TN, his sister, Charlotte Fulton (Randy) of Hagerstown, MD, his brothers, Bobby Woods (Beverly) and Mark Woods (Janet) of Lexington and Steve Hendrix (Diane) of Murfreesboro, TN, two step-brothers, Bruce Woods of Collinwood TN and Michael Woods of Lexington. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Lindsey Hendrix Cook (Dalton), Landon Hendrix, Trey Wilson (Kylie), Blake Wilson, Matthew Guerra, Clint Guerra, Hayley Powers (Dakota) all of Lexington and Laura and Gavin Prater of Beech Bluff; six great-grandchildren, Ansley Cook, Winslet Bray, Elliot Wilson, Rocky Wilson, Tucker Guerra, and River Powers. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hendrix, mother, Joy Woods, stepfather, Connie V. Woods, stepbrothers, Kenny Woods, Donald Gene Woods, and Gerald Woods. At his request the family will hold a private memorial in his honor.
