Raymond (Ray) Michael Lockhart

Raymond “Ray” Michael Lockhart, a cherished husband, devoted father, beloved grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the age of 62. He was born in Flint, Michigan, on April 26, 1963, to Robert and Jan Lockhart. Ray built his professional career as a dedicated CNC Operator at Leroy Somer, where he made significant and lasting contributions.

He will be remembered for his kindness and gentle spirit, passion for hunting and fishing, and lifelong devotion to his spouse, Paula Lockhart.

Ray’s memory will be deeply cherished by his surviving family: his devoted spouse, Paula Lockhart; his children, Attamara Hayes (Edward) and Amanda Schmidgall (Scott); his grandchildren, A’Darius Ellis (Amber), Jordan Retana, Alexis Parker (Chris), Kayla Hayes, Mya Clayton, Sidney Hayes, Clint Clayton Jr., and Kavion Pearson; his great-grandchildren, Miracle, Kylie, River, and Michael; his siblings, Robert Lockhart and Ronald Lockhart; and a host of beloved brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial visitation will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation on Friday, December 12th, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
