John Phillip “Phil” Walker

John Phillip Walker passed away on July 11th, 2026 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital at the age of 70. He was preceded by his parents Walker & Mabel Walker, his late wife Kathy Bell Walker, his brother Richard Thomas of California, two uncles, and three aunts. He is survived by fiancé of 22 years Betty McIllwain, his Aunt Carolyn Gatlin, and many wonderful cousins.

His visitation will be held Saturday July 25th, 2026 9am-1pm at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lexington, TN with his memorial service to follow. Phil will be laid to rest with his late wife Kathy at Old Center Methodist Church in Bath Springs, TN.
