3/25/1971 – 4/12/2024

Lafayette Montrel Parker was born to Tony Anthony Parker and Shelia (Yarbrough) Parker on March 25th, 1971 in Lexington, TN. On Friday April 12th, 2024, Lafayette Montreal “Trel” Parker transitioned from his earthly home to enter into the loving arms of God.

Montrel was well loved by friends and family. He consistently made people laugh and it seems he never met a stranger, always putting everyone at ease around him. His generosity and caring for others could be felt by all who came into his presence. He was affectionately called “Trel” by most who know him.

Trel has belonged to a few churches throughout his life, beginning with Timberlake Grove Baptist Church of Lexington, TN as a young boy. As an adult, he moved to several states and cities where he would attend local services and joined Covenant Community Church in San Antonio, TX.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Spouse: Keisha Lee Parker; Children: Marshawn Parker, Casey Parker, Maliya Parker, Kela Lee and Atreyu Lee; Siblings: John (Sonya) Parker, Tasha Buckley-Harville, Stephanie Buckley-Nash, and Michael A. Buckley; eight grandchildren and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, and cousins.

His visitation will be held Saturday April 27th, 2024 at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation beginning at 12pm with his service to follow at 1pm.
