Larry Renfroe passed away on April 4th, 2026 in Clarksville, TN at the age of 73. He is preceded by his parents Frances Sipes Bowman & James Hayes Renfroe, and his son Jeremy Renfroe. He is survived by his brother James Renfroe, his sister Dolores Shiver, his children Christopher Hood (Michelle), Jason Renfroe (Whitney), and Brittany Sinclair (Jordan).

Larry was a man known for his big heart and even bigger personality. Larry proudly served his country in the National Guard from 1971 to 1977. Throughout his life, he worked as both a truck driver and a machinist. Outside of work, Larry truly knew how to enjoy life. He even had a pet goat, Elvis, who he loved very much.  He loved fishing, riding dune buggies, and dancing. Larry was a familiar face at the Saturday night dances held in Reagan, TN.

Larry was a proud Mason, recently celebrating his 50th year. He was a deeply social man and never met a stranger. His nature and easy conversations made him a friend to many and a stranger to none. Above all else he loved his large family deeply and treasured the time spent with them.

Larry will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the way he made everyone feel welcome. He was truly loved by many and will be deeply missed.

His visitation will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation Wednesday, April 8th, 2026 from 5pm-9pm. His visitation will recommence Thursday, April 9th, 2026 from 10am-2pm with his service to follow 2pm.
