Thomas Ray Cannon passed away Wednesday March 27th, 2024 in Lexington, TN at the age of 79. Thomas was born on April 24th, 1944 in Memphis, TN to the late Ottis Lee and Ethel Erselle Cannon. He was a truck driver for about half his life before becoming an electrician, until his retirement. He loved people and social gatherings, whether it was a backyard cookout, fishing with his wife and kids, or sitting by the lake to look at the water. He was a loving father and husband. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his son Christopher Lee Cannon. He is survived by his wife Brenda Cannon, sons Thomas Ray Cannon Jr. (Josephine) and Ricky Cannon (Joanna), his daughters Mary Sego (Chris) and Brenda Hensley (Jeff), his older sisters Katherine Bell and Joyce Yoakum (Tom), and his brother Jim Cannon. He had 9 grandchildren: Christopher and Allison Sego; Koda, Kelsey, and River Cannon; Sonora, Chole, and Brice Hensley; and Enzo Cannon.

His visitation will be held Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation from 2pm-4pm with his service to follow at 4pm.
