Robert E. Tinin passed away Wednesday April 9th, 2025 in Vanderbilt Hospital at the age of 74. He was preceded by his parents Ray Tinin and Wilma Brewer-Tinin, his wife Ruby Tinin, his brother Curtis Tinin, Terry Tinin, Danny Tinin and Jessie Ray Tinin, his sisters Betty Bingham and Lousie Lowery, and his son Gregory Tinin. He is survived by his wife Melissa Tinin, his brother Eddie Tinin, his sister Jean Montgomery, his grandchildren Blake (Katie) Tinin, Payton (Jodie) Tinin, and Sean Tinin, and his great grandchildren Jackson, Magnolia, Caliope, and River. 

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their Sin and heal their land.”

Mr. Tinin was a man of God who loved to preach the word of God. He was also a family man who deeply loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

His visitation will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation Saturday April 12th, 2025 from 2pm-9pm. His visitation will recommence Sunday April 13th, 2025 from 12pm-2pm with his service to follow at 2pm.
