Alice Faye Wright

Alice Faye Wright left this Earth bound for glory at daybreak Sunday August 14th , 2022, at the age of 80 in Lexington, TN. She was born during WWI in Gibson County TN to the late James Walter and Minnie Rebecca Pickard. She moved to Chicago with her family where she married the love of her life, Harold Richard Wright Sr. Alice Faye was a cosmologist for over 30 years and a small business owner. She was full of love, laughter, and opinions. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harold Richard Wright Sr., her sons James A. Dennis, John T. Dennis, and H. Richard Wright Jr., her daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Greg Hopper of Lexington, TN, her brother and sister-in-law Roger and Karan Pickard of Benton KY, her sister- in-law Cathy Pickard of Jackson, TN, 10 grandchildren all of which lived with her a one point in their lives, 11 greatgrandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her daughters Tina Marie Wright and Sherry Ann Wright, her grandson James Shannon Gunn, her sister Ann Garrett and brother-in-law John Garrett and a brother James Pickard. Her Visitation will be held at First Pentecostal Church, 9491 Hwy 412 W, Lexington, TN on Friday August 19th from 4 8PM. Her Visitation will recommence Saturday August 20th at 11AM with her Memorial Service to follow at 1PM.
