Michael “Mitch” Lee Garlock

Michael “Mitch” Lee Garlock passed away on March 23rd, 2026 in Lexington, TN at the age of 66. He was preceded by his parents Dale and Sonie Garlock. He is survived by his brother Gary Garlock (Paula), his sister Tami Zimmerle (Jeff), his daughter Dana Hughes, his granddaughter Adaline Hughes, his nieces & nephews Michael, Becki, Hallie Garlock, Holli Reynolds, and Brandon Zimmerle.

Mitch was a true Florida native with a deep appreciation for the simple things that brought him joy. He was a skilled welder who took pride in his work. He loved cars – especially Ford. Whether he was watching NASCAR or rooting on his beloved Florida Gators, Mitch’s enthusiasm was unmistakable. He will be remembered for his strong spirit, his dedication, and the love he had for the people and passions that shaped his life.

His memorial service will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home & Cremation Friday March 27th, 2026 at 12pm.
